The Destruction of Sodom and Gommorah

Today on Far Future Horizons we explore one of the greatest mysteries of the Bible the - Destruction of Sodom and Gommorah.

The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is mentioned in chapters eighteen and nineteen of the book of Genesis. Can new discoveries in geology, archaeology, astronomy and climatology provide clues to what may actually have happened?

Thanks to the work of Dr. Mark Hempsall and Alan Bond and a five thousand year old Sumerian clay tablet clues have been uncovered that have provided evidence that the account in Genesis may have been an eyewitness report of the destruction of the two cities from the fallout of a mile wide asteroid that exploded in the upper atmosphere above the Austrian Alps at Köfels.

Independent collaborative research in the field in paleo-climatology provides evidence that this impact of June 29 in the year 3123 BCE affected climate across the entire planet.

A detailed account of this research entitled “A Sumerian Observation of the Köfels' Impact Event” by Dr. Mark Hempsall and Alan Bond is available from
