Apollo 11 interviews with Arthur C Clarke and Robert A Heinlein (July 20, 1969)




Today on Far Future Horizons we present a treasure from the CBS News Archives.





On July 20th, 1969 CBS journalists Walter Cronkite and Bill Stout interviewed the two great Grand masters of Science Fiction.  Arthur C Clarke and Robert A Heinlein (two of the "Big Three" of science fiction authors) were interviewed regarding their thoughts and feeling about the historical event they just witnessed. Namely, Humankind’s first fleeting footsteps on the Moon.
