present the SciFi movie classic “The Day The Earth Stood Still” released in
1951. This film was released by 20th
Century Fox and produced by Julian Blaustein and directed by Robert Wise.
Starring in the lead roles were actors Michael Rennie and Patricia Neal.
“The Day the Earth Stood Still” was
written by Edmund H. North, based on the 1940 science fiction short story
"Farewell to the Master" by Harry Bates.
I strongly recommend watching this
original version, which is far more superior than the 2008 version. Happy
