Sea Monsters - A Prehistoric Adventure

Today on Far Future Horizons we are going on an incredible odyssey through time which will teleport us eighty million years into the past, when dinosaurs ruled the land, and an incredible assortment of reptiles ruled the seas.

With images of incredible realism, made with possible with three dimensional CGI animation, we will visit a prehistoric underwater realm where real sea monsters once roamed the deep.

The central protagonist of this adventure story is Dolly, a female Dolichorhynchops, who travels the Kansas Inland Sea, 81.9 million years ago during the late Cretaceous period with her family.

We follow Dolly from infancy till late adulthood. As a child Dolly gets attacked by a shark (Cretoxyrhina) which kills her mother. Dolly survives this attack with a tooth embedded in her flipper. Later, Dolly's brother is swallowed whole by a young Tylosaurus, and then an older Tylosaurus kills the younger one, leaving Dolly alone. Then we follow Dolly as she becomes a mother and has three young of her very own.

Sea Monsters - A Prehistoric Adventure produced by the National Geographic Society is one adventure film you would most definitely like to add to your DVD library and is available from Amazon Books.
