Today on Far Future Horizons we present a short documentary titled the “Day of the Asteroid”.

Asteroids have been racing through the solar system since the dawn of the solar system's creation. And, have smashed into Earth and the other planets since time ever memorial.

What are the chances we'll get hit again by a killer asteroid? 

Armed with new defensive technologies, scientists are getting ready for the day, a decade, century from now when the human species may face an appointment with total extinction - the Day of the Asteroid.
