Orion Exploration Flight Test 1

Today on Far Future Horizons we wish Good Luck and Godspeed to NASA as it tests its new Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV).

Tomorrow morning, NASA plans the first test launch of the first deep-space vehicle, since Project Apollo sent the first astronauts to the Moon between the years 1968 to 1972.

Officially known as the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV), Orion is planned to take astronauts to the Moon, asteroids, and eventually to Mars.
