Comet Catastrophes

It has happened before, and it will happen again. Somewhere out in the dark depths of the Oort cloud there lurks a comet with our name on it.

Some believed they were harbingers of doom and with the advent of the scientific revolution  one comet in particular led Isaac Newton to formulate his theory of Universal Gravitation.
