Prehistoric Megastorms - Noah's Great Flood

Today on Far Future Horizons we present another exciting episode of the acclaimed documentary series Prehistoric Megastorms that explores the possible causes of Noah's Great Flood.

About 8,000 years ago, the oceans rose all over the planet as the Ice Age ended. Then, suddenly, the Mediterranean bursts its overflowed banks, ploughing through West Asia and killing thousands of early human settlers caught in its path. After the flood, the waters had swallowed a huge valley that became the Black Sea. This prehistoric mega-flood was the greatest natural disaster in human history. 3-D computer animation will recreate what the world's greatest deluge may have looked like.

This and other episodes of the History Channel’s acclaimed documentary series, Prehistoric Megastorms can be purchased from Amazon.com and the History Channel’s online store.
