The Search for Habitable Planets

Today on Far Future Horizons we go in search for habitable planets within our galaxy.

Thus far, in this great age of planet hunting, we
have glimpsed a diverse planetary menagerie, with giant planets in wide orbits around their parent stars, others that swing in so close they leave a comet-like tail, or molten rocky worlds emblazoned with oceans of lava.

These finds have added new complexity to theories of how solar systems emerge with the birth of a star and the search for habitable life bearing planets.
