From the Earth to the Moon - "That's All There Is"

Today on Far Future Horizons we present the seventh episode of the acclaimed twelve-part HBO television miniseries From the Earth to the Moon - "That's All There Is".

In this episode on the Apollo 12 mission rookie astronaut Alan Bean becomes the fourth person to walk on the moon.

Alan Bean, the last member of NASA Astronaut Group 3 to fly in space, narrates his experience with the tightly-knit, all-Navy crew commanded by Gemini veteran Pete Conrad, and accepts with humour and grace his responsibility for the failure of the first colour TV camera on the lunar surface, and almost fracturing his own skull by failing to properly secure the Command Module's TV camera before splashdown.
